What is meant by a process? Describe its important features.

Theprocess is a systematic way of achieving/completing a set of tasks through which raw materials are converted into useful and valuable products/goods. The production of output requires several tasks to be done to receive the ultimate output. Various resources like raw materials, labor, capital, and organizational skills are used in the production process.

Each factor contributes to the process, and the result is achieved, which is the final product. The raw materials get transformed, the labor puts in the hard work required to transform the raw material or operate the machines that perform the transformation, the capital provides funds to own the workstation and the machines, and lastly, the organizer brings all of the factors together and makes them interact with each other.

The features of a process include:
