An organic compound having the molecular formula \(\mathrm{C}_{7} \mathrm{H}_{8} \mathrm{O}\) is insoluble in \(\mathrm{NaHCO}_{3}\) solution but dissolves in aqueous \(\mathrm{NaOH}\).
