2. Numbering the chain according to the priority order of double bond, triple bond, and functional group.
3. The functional group should be written in alphabetical order means if there is a methyl and an ethyl group, put the ethyl group at first as e comes earlier than m in alphabets.
4. Among two or more functional groups, the name of the compounds will be based on that group that has higher priority.
5. If the numbering of halogen and alkyl groups from each side is the same, priority would be from that direction which has the group with the nearest letter of the A alphabet. For example; If there is butyl and a chloro group, as b comes first then c, the numbering will be from the butyl group.
