Isomers are those compounds which have same molecular formula but different structures. Isomers are further classified into structural isomers and geometric isomers. In structural isomers the position of the substituents are different. In geometric isomers orientation of groups across a double bond are different. Geometric isomers are classified as cis and trans isomers. They can also be assigned E or Z configuration

Degree of unsaturation defines how many multiple bonds present in the compound.

Firstly we have to calculate the degree of unsaturation from the molecular formula.

Since, the degree of unsaturation is equal to 1, so there must be only one double bond present in the molecule.
