Multiply both sides by $\frac{1}{9}$and simplify.

Hence on solving $7\left(n-1\right)=-2\left(3+n\right)$the obtained value of n is $\frac{1}{9}$.

Put $n=\frac{1}{9}$in $7\left(n-1\right)=-2\left(3+n\right)$and check whether the value on the right-hand side is equal to the value on the left-hand side.

$7\left(\left(\frac{1}{9}\right)-1\right)=-2\left(3+\left(\frac{1}{9}\right)\right)$

First, evaluate the value on left-hand side.

$\begin{array}{c}7\left(\left(\frac{1}{9}\right)-1\right)=7\left(\frac{1-9\left(1\right)}{9}\right)\\ =7\left(\frac{-8}{9}\right)\\ =-\frac{56}{9}\end{array}$
