Step 3. Locating the mixed fractions on the number line.

Here, the mixed fractions are $1 \frac{3}{4}, - 1 \frac{3}{4}$

First mark the point between 1 and 2 and then to locate $1 \frac{3}{4}$ . Divide the section between 1 and 2 into four equal parts since 4 is the denominator. similarly we can locate $- 1 \frac{3}{4}$

To locate improper fractions, it is easier to plot them if we convert them to mixed numbers and then plot them, now we can plot them easily . To locate $\frac{8}{3}$ divide the space between $3 a n d 4$ into three equal parts and then plot.
